Introducing ePolizza, the free mobile phone application from Generali Group which provides real-time information and services: from locating the nearest agency  to reporting an accident as soon as it happens, to traffic information

Milan, May 16th 2011- modomodo – an Italian firm that has developed an innovative Mobile Consumer Application Platform – has now created ePolizza, a new mobile application for Generali Group which gives users 24-hour access via their phones to a series of added-value services.

After installing the ePolizza application, if there is a road accident, the user can immediately report the incident and send a photo of the damage, via his/her smartphone.

Moreover, thanks to geo-location ePolizza users can find the nearest agency to where they are, get the address of the nearest pre-approved body shop together with directions showing how to get there as well as a list of black box installers that can be displayed on the map together with the information needed to contact them.

The application can also do a search on pre-approved hospitals and the specialist medical services they provide as well as providing real-time traffic information.

Like all applications developed by modomodo, ePolizza is compatible with all current mobile operating systems (iPhone, Symbian, Android, Windows Phone 7 and BlackBerry) and cellphone models. The application can geo-locate pre-approved body shops and agencies throughout Italy belonging to Generali Group backing the project.

ePolizza can access services provided by Generali Group Companies (Alleanza, Assicurazioni Generali, Augusta Assicurazioni, Fata Assicurazioni, INA Assitalia, Lloyd Italico and Toro). The ePolizza application can be downloaded for free from the support page www.epolizza.it and from all Mobile Application Stores (Apple Store, Android Market, BlackBerry App World, Nokia Ovi Store, Windows Marketplace).
